LittlePeia Designs founder, owner, and designer Stacey Sofia-McDaniel spent a childhood full of artistic adventure, but once Real Life required a career be decided Stacey entered the technical field of software engineering.

While a wonderful job and industry in several areas, the Information Technology field left Stacey with the goal to re-discover her creative side, which had been put on hold while all available time and energy was devoted to learning computer languages and writing code.

LittlePeia Designs is the result of this goal. Stacey's designs aim for unique beauty, elegance, and use of many different materials and stones. Much heart and care is put into her work and each piece is one she would love to keep for herself if the goal wasn't to run a business.

Stacey is a graduate of the University of Findlay with degrees in Computer Science and Equestrian Studies. She currently works as an International Project Manager for Sony Online Entertainment and spends as much time as possible pursuing her passion of the Equestrian sport of Show Jumping with her horse Sahara.

What about the name, you say?  When Stacey was an infant her mom made up a song for her where the only word she could think of to rhyme with "Sofia" was "little peia".  Meaningless at the time (but great for being teased about as a child!), calling the company "Little Peia" is a tribute back to that first song and the great parents that Stacey is blessed to have.  Thanks to sister Jaimie for helping come up with the name! LittlePeia Designs is based in San Diego, California where Stacey lives with her family.
